High Strength Silver Solder

Super high strength silver solder - up to 25,000 psi yield strength (depending on the metals joined). No flux core (solid wire) - use a rosin flux for wiring or an acid flux for bonding metals. Lead free alloy composed of 3 1/2 % silver and 96 1/2 % tin. Solder is designed as a eutectic alloy resulting in superior wetting of surfaces and uniform grain structure when solidifying, all of this technology resulting in higher strength. This solder has a spec of 431 degrees F melting point and as a result, a high temp iron (1000 deg. F) is recommended.
