Monogram Rare Series II Type 1/32 Cooper Ford Body Kit with open rear wheel arches (Series I cars had covered wheel arches).  Molded in robust high-impact ABS plastic resin.  Includes brass #4-40 press-in threaded inserts for chassis mounting, headlight glass and windshield, front & rear fascia, interior with driver & steering wheel, fresh & beautiful chrome with wheel inserts, intake & exhaust stacks, gas cap, rear view mirror and all necessary bits to reproduce a beauty as shown below.   All parts come directly from vintage 1960's original mold.  Unlike some vintage 60's NOS (new old stock) this body is perfectly straight and requires no extraordinary efforts to get everything to sit level and make the model look superb.

 

This body was intended to model the car configuration Ex-Shelby after the Ford program officially ended and Carroll Shelby sold the car into privateer hands although the existence of the car in this trim is somewhat debated since it was rumored that the car was abruptly crashed and written off shortly after being sold .

 

This body can be used to make a superb static model or if used as a slot car the original Monogram Series I / II, EJ Hobbies 1/32 Brass, Plafit EZ or Super 32 Chassis (or many others) could be used.
