PREORDER / BACKORDER PROCESS - We will book all preorder items with a zero weight and zero cost so that your credit card will not be pre-authorized and held prior to merchandise becoming available to ship.  BACKORDERS are sometimes an issue since the system as we have it configured today does not accept backorders for merchandise temporarily out of stock.  There are 2 ways to work around this limitation : 1.) When an item is out of stock you will see a link on that items product page that is entitled "email me when back in stock" and if you click on that you can input your email and then the system will automatically send you an email as soon as that item is restocked so you can reorder.  2.) Alternately, you can send an email to : backorders@professormotor.com with the quantity of an item that is desired and we will enter that order for you when merchandise is again available OR you can click on the "click here" link on the "email me when out of stock" page to send that same email to backorders.  SHIPPING - In the continental USA MOST items are free shipping for orders over $100 of shippable merchandise.

SAFETY WARNINGS ! - Many of the cars or parts available in our shopping system contain small parts that are a potential choking hazard and are not recommended for children under 8 years of age.  Neodymium chassis magnets and chassis lead also pose potential serious health hazards for small children - please pay close attention to the safety warnings for those products.
