PREORDER / BACKORDER PROCESS - In many cases we will book all preorder items with a zero weight and zero cost so that your credit card will not be pre-authorized and held prior to merchandise becoming available to ship.

BACKORDERS are sometimes an issue since the system as we have it configured today does not accept backorders for merchandise temporarily out of stock. There is a way to work around this limitation - when an item is out of stock you will see a link on that items product page that is entitled " email me when back in stock " and if you click on that you can input your email and then the system will automatically send you an email as soon as that item is restocked so you can reorder.

SHIPPING - In the continental USA MOST items are free shipping for orders over $100 of shippable merchandise for our retail customers. There are some (rare) exceptions - slot car magazines and heavy chassis fixtures for example. Most orders are shipped within 1 to business 3 days of placement. If there are exceptions to that shipping schedule we will notify you via email. PLEASE NOTE that flammable paints are required to be shipped with more expensive ORM-D shipping and CAN NOT be shipped outside the USA 48 States !
