The new push-to-past function, with which the driver can call up an additional 30 hp at the push of a button, also catapulted Austrian Philipp Eng in his BMW M4 DTM "P.Eng, No.25" in Zolder, Belgium, to first place in the first race. In his second DTM season, the 29-year-old was able to move up from 9th to 6th place in the overall standings with his blue BMW number 24.
